Disability Assessment Training for Nyeri County Health Workers

Naromoru Disabled Children’s Home is pleased to announce an upcoming Disability Assessment Training scheduled to take place from 7th to 10th July 2026 at FK Resort, Nyeri. The training will bring together health workers from across Nyeri County with the aim of strengthening their knowledge and practical skills in disability assessment, early identification, and appropriate referral pathways. FK Resort is a conference venue located along the Karatina–Nyeri Highway in Marua, offering facilities suitable for professional training programs.

This four-day program is designed to promote a more coordinated and comprehensive approach to disability services within the county. Participants will engage in interactive learning sessions, practical demonstrations, case discussions, and collaborative exchanges that will enhance their capacity to identify, assess, and support children and adults living with disabilities.

Through this initiative, Naromoru Disabled Children’s Home continues its commitment to building the capacity of healthcare professionals and strengthening partnerships with county health institutions. By equipping frontline health workers with the necessary skills and knowledge, the training will contribute to improved access to quality disability services, timely interventions, and better outcomes for individuals and families across Nyeri County.
